Terms and Conditions (November 2013)

Your continued use of the IberianDeli.co.uk website is subject to your agreement of the following Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these Terms and Conditions you should not place an order.


All prices are quoted in GBP Pound Sterling (£). We make every effort to ensure that the prices quoted on our website are correct. In the unlikely event of a pricing error on our website we reserve the right to cancel or amend any or all affected orders, irrespective of whether payment has already been taken. In such cases a refund will be issued in accordance with these Terms and Conditions.


Iberian Deli does not have access to your payment information. All payments are processed by a third-party payment processor using the strongest commercially available level of encryption.

Substitute Goods

We reserve the right to send substitute goods where the ordered goods are out of stock, though such occurrences will be extremely rare. We guarantee that all replacement items will be of an equal or greater value.


It is the responsibility of the customer to ensure that their address details are entered correctly when placing an order. We cannot accept responsibility for late delivery or non-delivery when the customer’s address is incomplete or incorrect.

The goods shall be deemed to be delivered when our delivery agent has obtained confirmation of delivery from any person at that address or, at our delivery agent’s sole discretion, at any nearby address. If our delivery agent is unable to deliver goods they may leave a card providing details of how you may request a re-delivery or otherwise from where you can collect the goods. Our delivery agent may return the goods to us if they remain undelivered after a card has been left or if they have been unable to deliver them for any reason. In such cases a refund will be issued in accordance with these Terms and Conditions, minus the cost of delivery and the cost of any perishable goods that are unsuitable for re-sale.

Before accepting delivery you must inspect all packages for obvious signs of damage and interference. If any is found you must either refuse delivery or, when signing to confirm delivery, make a note of the issues on the delivery agent’s paperwork next to where you sign. We cannot accept responsibility for damaged goods if you fail to inspect the packages before accepting delivery.

We will attempt to ensure delivery of your order within 7 days of confirmation of receipt of payment, but in exceptional circumstances we may extend this period up to 30 days from the day after the order is placed.


In accordance with The Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000 (as amended), you may cancel an order at any point between placing the order and seven working days starting the day after you receive the goods. You must notify us in writing before the end of this period that you wish to cancel the order. If the goods have been delivered you must return them to us, at your own cost, in an unused and saleable condition. Perishable items should not be returned and will not be refunded unless they were substituted by us for goods that you ordered.

Where substitute goods have been supplied, should you decide to cancel the order after you have taken delivery, we will pay for the cost of returning the goods to us providing you notify us in writing of your wish to cancel within seven days starting the day after you receive the goods, and providing we choose the method of return delivery, and – in the case of non-perishable goods – providing the goods remain in an unused and saleable condition.

Following cancellation you are under a legal duty to retain possession of and take reasonable care of the goods until, where required, you arrange for the goods to be returned to us. When returning goods to us you are responsible for their safe arrival. We recommend that you pack the goods securely and use a delivery agent who will be able to confirm a successful delivery.


Where goods are missing or have been damaged in transit you must inform us within three days of accepting delivery. We will replace or refund such items. We may ask you to return damaged goods to us, at our cost, and in such cases you must ensure the goods are suitably packaged. We cannot accept responsibility for damaged goods if you have accepted delivery without first inspecting the packages, or where you have failed to note the details on the delivery agent’s paperwork, or where you do not inform us within three days of accepting delivery.


All refunds will be issued within 30 days. All refunds will be issued in GBP Pound Sterling. We cannot accept responsibility for any discrepancies resulting from currency exchanges out of our control.


All contracts formed and legal disputes arising shall be governed by English law. Both parties agree that the English courts shall have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any disputes which may arise out of or in connection with these Terms and Conditions or use of the website. If a court of law decides that any part of these Terms and Conditions is illegal, invalid or unenforceable, the rest of these Terms and Conditions shall remain in force.

We reserve the right to make changes to these Terms and Conditions at any time. You will be subject to the Terms and Conditions in force at the time that you order from us.
